VIDEOS

These are some moving accounts which bring home the reality of the streets.  It shows the incredibly compromising positions these kids face, and the need for intervention.  (On an editorial note, I may have inadvertently blended the stories of Irene and Patricia Ndunzi, for which I hope they will forgive me!)

A delegation from Waldheim Mennonite Brethren Church (SK) travelled to Kinshasa in November of 2007.  This little video gives a pictorial story of the joy with which they were received and the beautiful welcome by our Congolese friends.  The white folk you'll see in the video are Beth Unger (youngest), Clarence Peters (middle age and balding), and "Mamma" Anna Kroeker.  The music comes from the Kintambo church, a congregational song which blew me away with the quality and the joy of it.
